With the recent return of the Ford Ranger and the inclusion of the all-new Ford Maverick, as well as an exciting new F-150 trim, there is a lot to unpack when it comes time to find your favorite new or used Ford pickup.

2022 Ford Ranger

Most mid-size trucks are not known for providing muscle, but the new Ford Ranger in Columbus is an outlier, earning best-in-class payload and torque ratings.

A 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine producing 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque allows drivers to haul a best-in-class payload of 2,128 pounds and tow up to 7,500 pounds. The new Ford Ranger is also fuel efficient, earning 26 miles per gallon on highways and 21 miles per gallon on city streets.

The Ford Co-Pilot360™ safety suite includes a Tow-Optimized BLIS® Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert to make towing through the Detroit metro simpler and safer. The SYNC®3 Infotainment setup features voice-activated technology. Westland shoppers can select a Ford Ranger SuperCab (with six-foot truck bed) or SuperCrew model (with five-foot truck bed) for their cab size.

2022 Ford Maverick

Drivers will love the all-new Ford Maverick, as the first-ever standard full-hybrid pickup displays innovations yet seen in trucks. The new Ford Maverick can tow between 2,000 and 4,000 pounds while taking on a 1,500-pound payload.

The standard hybrid powertrain - 2.5-liter Atkinson inline-4 engine paired with a 94-kW battery pack - earns 40 miles per gallon on highways and has a total power output of 191 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque. Drivers can still earn 23/30 (city/highway) miles per gallon when switching to the optional 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 powertrain that produces 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.

This innovative truck touts a standard 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Work from anywhere in Detroit or Michigan with a 4G LTE in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot powered by FordPass™ Connect.

The Ford Maverick's functional cabin features creative storage solutions and FITS (Ford Integrated Tether Slots). Truck drivers will love the exterior design that offers dual 115-volt outlets, shorter bed walls, LED headlights, a multi-position tailgate, and a 4.5-foot customizable FLEXBED™.

The Ford F-150 features a functional and premium interior along with five robust powertrains that result in class-leading towing and payload capabilities.

Canton customers can choose between Regular Cab, Super Cab, or SuperCrew Cab designs and 5.5 to 8.0-foot truck beds for the Ford F-150, America's best-selling full-size pickup.

A normal 3.5-liter EcoBoost® twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 400 ponies and 500 pound-feet of torque, is also available. The lone V8 engine, 5.0-liters, produces 400 horsepower, 410 pound-feet of torque, and boasts a best-in-class max payload rating of 3,325 pounds.
